• Baking soda:

Put two parts of cold water and one part of baking soda in a pot and mix them. Apply this mixture to the stained surface of your mattress using a white rag or paper towel. Leave it for thirty minutes there. Then rinse it with another rag or towel.

Dab that area and dry it. You can open the windows or turn the fan on to dry the mattress well. In this way, you will successfully remove the blood stain from your mattress.

• Meat tenderizer:

If you tried the above methods but fail to remove bloodstain, the last and efficient method is to use a meat tenderizer. It breaks down the proteins of blood and tenderizes it. Take two tablespoons of cold water and one tablespoon of meat tenderizer.

Mix them until a pasty mass is formed. Rub pasty mass over the stained area and keep to dry for about one hour. When it is dried, wipe the mass with a rag soaked in cold water. Finally, use another cloth to dry it.
